By the request of the Ministry of Industry and Communication, specialists of the State Corporation Türkmengeologiýa have performed scientific and research works and discovered the deposits of iron ore at Gyzylgaya V section of Chagyl field in Gyzylgaya settlement of Turkmenbashy etrap, Balkan Velayat. It was informed to the Head of the State by Vice-premier M. Chakiyev at the session of the Government on April 5.

At the session of the Government on April 5, Vice-premier M. Meredov informed the Head of the State about the situation at the plant for production of gasoline from natural gas, which was built in Ahal Velayat. At present moment, construction works have been completed by 96 percent while commissioning works by more than 64 percent.

At the session of the Government on March 29, Vice-premier E. Orazgeldiyev informed the Head of the State on the work for introduction of digital technologies to agriculture.

Programme work for digitization of all spheres of national economy, introduction of scientific developments to production is carried out in the country at present time. Different ministries, departments and agencies as well as entrepreneurs of the country work on the strengthening of equipment and facility base, creation of necessary network platforms, which allow integrating services provided for the population to the internet, under the objectives outlined in the Concept of development of digital economy.

Farmers of Dashoguz Velayat, where sowing campaign starts a bit later than in other regions of the country due to natural and climate conditions, started the sowing of cotton.

An important agricultural campaign – cotton-sowing campaign started in the country. Cotton growers in Ahal, Balkan, Lebap and Mary Velayats launched the campaign on March 23, cotton growers in Dashoguz Velayat – on March 27.
