Today, in accordance with the Resolution of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, in order to provide socio-economic support to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, a special motor vehicle convoy with a large consignment of regular humanitarian aid has left the Turkmen capital for Afghanistan.

Today, President of Turkmenistan has had a telephone conversation with President of The Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

By the Resolution of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Turkmen delegation is going to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to take part in the opening ceremony of 10-kilometer railroad at Akina railway station, Andhoy region, Faryab Province and launch of construction of Akina – Andhoy railway on July 25, 2019.

Numerous modern health and medical centres including the biggest in Central Asia multi-profile clinic for 836 patients in Turkmenabat have been built in the eastern region of the country for the last ten years under the State Health Programme.

Dashoguz Sanatorium, which is located 12-km away from administration centre of the northern region of the country, gains more popularity among the citizens and guests of the country.

Human being is the highest value of the state and society, which is stated in the Constitution of Turkmenistan. Therefore, we aim at fundamental reformation of health protection of human, improvement of social and living conditions of the citizens, modernization of the system if health protection and medical industry.

The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, according to which the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry, the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations, the Ministry of Textile Industry, as well as the Union of Industrialists and Manufacturers of Turkmenistan are authorized to hand over the products, specified in the document, to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan for free as a humanitarian assistance.

In order to further develop cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Kingdom of Bahrain, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Resolution, in accordance with which the membership of the joint Turkmen-Bahraini Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Trade, Scientific and Technological Cooperation was approved for the Turkmen side.

In accordance with the Decree singed by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the honorary title ""People's Doctor of Turkmenistan"" was awarded to:

Presentation of new publication, the 11th volume of fundamental work of the President of the country, Academic of the Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Medicine, Professor Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov “Medicinal Plants of Turkmenistan”, which was published on occasion of professional holiday of personnel of health protection industry oft eh country, was held under International Health 2019 Exhibition that started in Ashgabat.
