Opening of new big medical facilities, International Burn Center and Aesthetic Centre has been held in Ashgabat with participation of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

“The national healthcare system reaches high levels, large-scale work is carried out to effectively use the potential of medical institutions. Fundamental is conducted in order to provide the population with high-quality medical and preventive services and ensure well-being of citizens”, says President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in his address on the occasion of the Day of Workers of Healthcare and Medical Industry.

Award ceremony of international certificates to new medical centers has taken place under the opening of International Burn Center and Aesthetic Center.

M. Garriyev State Medical University has hosted a conference dedicated to the Day of Health Protection and Medical Industry Personnel of Turkmenistan. Honoring of medical personnel, who received the state awards and badges to honored titles according to the Order of the President as well as award ceremony of title of Honored Professor of the University to the group of foreign specialists have been held during the event.

The Ministry of Health Protection and Medical Industry has held the presentation of the XII Volume encyclopedic work of President, Academic of the Academy of Sciences of the country, Doctor of Medicine, Professor Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov “Medicinal Plants of Turkmenistan”.

In honor of the Day of Workers of Healthcare and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Decree on awarding healthcare specialists with state awards and honorary titles.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has held extended session of the Cabinet of Ministers where outcomes of work of the branches for nine months of the year have been summed up, fulfilment of the programs of social and economic development of the country have been discussed, personnel issues have been reviewed and priority objectives of the coming period have been outlined.

According to the Decree signed by President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, wages, pensions, government benefits, scholarships in Turkmenistan will be increasd by 10% starting from January 1, 2021.

In accordance with the Decree of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Mammetmyrat Geldyniyazov is appointed as Vice-Prime Minister for science, education and healthcare.

In accordance with the Decree of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Purli Agamyradov was released from the position as Vice-Prime Minister for the serious shortcomings in his work.
