Prospects for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation were discussed during a telephone conversation on May 16, 2023 between the National Leader of the Turkmen people, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation Rustam Minnikhanov.
Today, a meeting of the Central Commission for holding elections and referendums in Turkmenistan was held, during which issues related to the preparation for the upcoming elections of members of the Genesh of the village of Aba Annayev of the Karizek etrap of the city of Arkadag, appointed in accordance with the Resolution of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan on the 23rd of July of this year, were considered.

Turkmenistan and Tatarstan are bound by long-term partnership relations. Thanks to active multi-level cooperation, the interaction of the two countries covers new areas.
The upcoming Central Asia-China summit on the 18th to 19th of May, which will be held in the ancient Chinese city of San, will open a new epoch in relations between the countries of the Central Asian five (Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan) with China.
