Guided by the principles of mercy and humanism bequeathed to us by our great ancestors, in order to further strengthen the unity and cohesion of Turkmen society and every family, as well as on the occasion of the sacred Gadyr Gijesi, the President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed the Decree «On pardon in honour of the sacred Gadyr gijesi of convicted persons», releasing those pardoned from further serving the main sentence of imprisonment.

Today, in the city of Arkadag, the presentation of the book by President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov «Anau - culture from the depths of millennia» took place. The new literary work by the head of the state is devoted to declaration of the ancient city of Anau as cultural capital of the Turkic world in 2024. This decision adopted at the meeting of the Permanent Council of TURKSOY, testifies to the high international authority of our fatherland, recognition of the powerful contribution of Turkmen people to development of human civilisation.

The deep meaning lies in the fact that the current opening falls on the month of Oraza and complements the cultural events on the occasion of the proclamation of the city of Anev as the cultural capital of the Turkic world in 2024. This is clear evidence of the continuity of exemplary primordial traditions and humanistic principles of our people.
