Yet another, 10th volume of selected essays by Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, “Towards New Heights of Progress”, has been published in Turkmen and Russian.

Regular 25th session of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan of the fifth convocation where number of new bills and legal regulatory acts have been adopted took place on November 25. Members of the Government, leaders of relative ministries and departments and press representatives were invited to participate in the session.

The draft Law of Turkmenistan ""On Combating Terrorism"" was submitted to the Turkmen parliamentarians for consideration during the twenty-fifth session of the Mejlis. Those speaking during the meeting emphasized that strengthening of peace, stability and security was an important aspect of the foreign policy, consistently implemented by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov sent his deep condolences to President of the Arabian Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah el-Sisi in connection with the event in the mosque in the north of peninsula of Sinai, the act of terrorism which has caused numerous human victim and mutilations.

At the Government session that took place on 24 November, information has been presented on improving the teaching of foreign languages in the country’s educational institutions and introducing advanced methods to create a comprehensive language system at every stage of the educational process.

At the session of the Government of Turkmenistan, issues of providing textile industry with cotton at reduced prices in 2018 were discussed.

On 2-4 December, Turkmenistan’s capital will host an international exhibition of production technologies for import substitution products where modern equipment will be showcased for different sectors: oil and gas, chemical, agricultural and food industries, healthcare etc..

On 4-5 December, Turkmenistan’s capital will host the 9th Session of the Turkmen–Austrian Joint Commission and a business forum.

Speaking during the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Deputy Prime Minister M. Babayev reported on the results of the working visit to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan on November 21-22.

Speaking during the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers for Agriculture E.Orazgeldiev reported that Turkmenistan worked on the establishment of the special land fund to transfer land plots to the citizens of the country for private ownership.
