President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held working session with participation of Ministry of Energy M. Artykov and Chairman of Türkmenaragatnaşyk Agency B. Ovezov. Ways of successful fulfilment of the Programme of social and economic development of Turkmenistan in 2019 – 2025 have been discussed and future objectives have been outlined at the meetings.

The Concept of development of digital economy in 2019 – 2025 developed at the request of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov is aimed at the enhancement of efficiency of operation of the branches of national economy and social sphere of the country through wide implementation of computer technologies. Today, active work for implementation of the Concept is expanded in all key directions.

Therefore, successful implementation of the state programmes in political, economic, social and cultural spheres requires permanent improvement of scientific potential, expansion of the outlook of the specialists, ability to use modern technologies, in other words the training of educated qualified personnel.

2017 was marked by the implementation of large-scale projects for modernization of existing roads, construction of railways and improvement of work of air and maritime fleet of the country. Our state playing important role in consolidation of trust and good neighbourhood in the region plays more active role as a generator of new ideas demanded by the time, which are implemented in the project of international importance.

Regular 26th session of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan of the fifth convocation where number of new laws and bills were adopted took place. Members of the Government, heads of relative ministries and departments, hyakims of Ashgabat and Ahal Velayat, representatives of mass media were invited to participate in the session.
