The widespread celebration of the glorious 30^th anniversary of permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan provided an opportunity to convey to the world community the enormous successes and new heights of development achieved by our country.

Our united people, committed to the principles of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag, «The state is for the people!» and our esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, «The Motherland is the Motherland only with the people! A state is a state only with the people!», lives a peaceful and prosperous life today. In the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, our country, with the speed of a horse, confidently moves forward along the bright path of development.

Our highly respected President, relying on centuries-old unique traditions and humane principles that form the foundation of the national character of the Turkmen people, is making great efforts to ensure the unity and stability of society and the peaceful development of the country.

As a result of the consistent implementation of large-scale reforms over the years of independence, the activities of all sectors of our country have been improved based on the experience of developed countries, and a unique modern Turkmen model of the national economy has been formed.

The coming year, according to the Eastern calendar, is the Year of the Horse. Turkmen horses are the national pride of our people, a priceless treasure, and a symbol of great achievement. As the saying goes, «A horse is a dream come true», and the New Year will lead our happy people to achieve their goal. For the people of Turkmenistan, the coming year has special significance. In 2026, our native Fatherland will celebrate the 35^th anniversary of sacred independence. In the centuries-old history of the Turkmen people and on the path to independent development, horses occupy a special place as a reliable and faithful companion of the nation.

Today, Ahal-Teke horses, which have been distinguished for centuries by their inherent strength, agility, and grace, adorn the State emblem of Turkmenistan, a symbol of the development of our independent, permanently neutral homeland.

In order to further glorify the independence and sovereignty of Turkmenistan, the high achievements achieved over the years of independence in politics, economics, culture, successes in ensuring a happy life for our people, the revival of our sovereign Fatherland, which amazes the whole world, confidently moving with the speed of a horse to the heights of progress and great victories achieved in all areas, further enhancing the glory of Ahal-Teke horses, which are an invaluable value not only for the Turkmen people, but for all humanity, increasing the glory and international authority of our Motherland, educating the younger generation in the spirit of immense pride, love and respect for independent, permanently neutral Turkmenistan, national heritage, a worthy celebration of the glorious 35^th anniversary of independence of Turkmenistan, promoting the significance of the great achievements being carried out with the speed of a horse and historical transformations, and also taking into account the proposals received from representatives of people, large public associations, work collectives and citizens of our country on the name of 2026, The Mejlis of Turkmenistan resolves:

Declare 2026 the year of «Independent neutral Turkmenistan − the homeland of purposeful winged horses».
