Guided by the principles of mercy and humanism bequeathed by our great ancestors, in order to further strengthen the unity and cohesion of Turkmen society and each family, and on the occasion of the 34th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence, the President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a decree pardoning convicts on the occasion of the 34th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence, releasing the pardoned citizens from further serving their main sentence in the form of imprisonment.

Guided by the principles of humanism and the virtue of our ancestors, based on our commitment to universally recognised international norms for the protection of human rights and freedoms, and in accordance with the Law of Turkmenistan «On Migration», the President of Turkmenistan signed a Decree granting a group of foreign citizens permission to reside in Turkmenistan.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the State Migration Service, and other relevant ministries and agencies are instructed to continue processing documents for foreign citizens and stateless persons applying for residency in our country.

In order to implement the Agreement on Economic Cooperation signed between the Government of Turkmenistan and the Government of Hungary and further develop cooperation between Turkmenistan and Hungary, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution approving the composition of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Hungarian Commission on Economic Cooperation from the Turkmen side.
