Achieving impressive results in all spheres, our Motherland marks the 34th anniversary of independence with grand victories and glorious events. With great successes, key milestones, and a foreign policy of positive neutrality based on traditions of friendship, brotherhood, and good neighborliness, our sunny Homeland, becoming a land of united, prosperous, and happy life, is honored in the Era of Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state with enormous respect and authority throughout the world.

The achievements of our independent country, the significant strengthening of the unity and cohesion of the courageous people, and the upbringing of the younger generation according to national traditions inherited from ancestors are the great merit of the older generation. Wise elders actively participate in discussions of important matters of state significance in the interests of the country and society, as well as in the large-scale reforms being implemented in the Homeland. Every significant initiative is brought to life with their blessing. The older generation also carries out effective work in explaining the domestic and foreign policy of independent neutral Turkmenistan.

The state highly values the role of the older generation in our united society, striving forward on the path of large-scale transformations, and its merits in educating youth in the spirit of patriotism, diligence, conscientiousness, morality, and humanism.

Taking into account the great contribution to strengthening Turkmenistan's independence, improving national traditions and customs, strengthening the unity and cohesion of the people, upbringing of the younger generation, exemplary personal life, and on the occasion of the 34th anniversary of neutral Turkmenistan's independence, I decree:
