Decree of the President of Turkmenistan on the celebration of Gurban Bayramy (Eid al-Adha)

In order to carefully preserve the original spiritual and moral values of the Turkmen people, consistently enhance the national traditions and customs inherited from our ancestors, significantly strengthen the unity and cohesion of our courageous, inspired people in the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, guided by the noble principles of generosity, good nature and humanism, and in accordance with Article 81 of the Labour Code of Turkmenistan, I decree:

1. To celebrate the National Holiday of the Turkmen People Gurban Bayramy (Eid al-Adha) on the 6th-7th-8th of June, 2025.

2. To move the day off on 8th of June to 9th of June, 2025, Monday.

3. To ensure the implementation of this Decree by all institutions, enterprises and organisations, regardless of their form of ownership.
