Today, on the eve of International Women's Day, a concert of art masters in honor of the glorious daughters of the Motherland was held at the Mukam Palace of the State Cultural Center.

The spring holiday, widely celebrated in Turkmenistan in accordance with national traditions, features the respectful attitude of our people towards the fair and, first of all, towards the woman mother. She was always respected and appreciated as the keeper of the family hearth, a wise advisor and a faithful friend.

The beauty, kindness, modesty, and dedication of Turkmen women are always admired. In poetic creativity, the image of a woman is the main one. The lyrical poems of Makhtumkuli, Mollanepes and many other Turkmen classical poets are filled with love and reverence for the beautiful half of humanity, and the parables about the mother's heart, the miraculous power of maternal prayer, created by the people and passed down from generation to generation, have formed a respectful and reverent attitude towards the mother as a shrine, an example of high morality.

It should be noted that among the priorities of the political course of an independent neutral Homeland is taking care of women stands out, improving their social status, and ensuring gender equality in accordance with the Constitution of Turkmenistan and generally recognized norms of international law.

Indeed, success in achieving gender equality testifies to the steady process of democratization of our country, and is considered one of the most important conditions for the formation of a healthy and comprehensively developed society committed to the principles of humanism and equality.

The spiritual, intellectual and moral potential of women in our country is increasingly being used in solving social problems, preserving cultural traditions and educating the younger generation.

In the modern world, national traditions and customs are harmoniously combined with a wide worldview, determination and business initiative of women. The creators of a new historical era, tireless workers of Turkmenistan take an active part in the socio-political life of the country. They, along with men, make a significant contribution to the grandiose achievements of the Motherland. Turkmen women have carried through the centuries the original filigree art of carpet weaving, felt making, embroidery, which shows their artistic talent, inexhaustible imagination and delicate taste. Due to the craftsmanship, these internationally recognized works of art captivate the whole world with their beauty. Folk tales and legends tell of their outstanding abilities in singing and playing the dutar, in which they often surpassed famous male performers.

And today women are professional, responsible and initiative managers and scientists, teachers and doctors, deputies and diplomats, but at the same time they remain caring mothers, gentle sisters and daughters, skilled and skillful housewives.

Traditionally, on the eve of March 8, solemn ceremonies were held everywhere on behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to present monetary gifts to all citizens of the country – workers of enterprises and institutions, those who are on well-deserved rest, as well as schoolgirls and pupils of kindergarten.

As it’s known, our government pays special attention to comprehensive support for large families, including improving their living conditions. In this regard, as part of honoring mothers of many children with eight or more children, who were awarded the honorary title of "Ene mähri" in accordance with the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan, the keys to new superior apartments were handed over.

...Compatriots from different regions of the Motherland, members of the Government, deputies of the Mejlis, labor veterans, activists of public organizations, and industry leaders representing all sectors of the national economy were invited to the festive concert at the Mukam Palace. Employees of diplomatic missions and international structures accredited in Turkmenistan also became honorary guests of the celebration.

International Women's Day is a wonderful occasion to express admiration for women through art. Today, during the concert, the image of the guardian of the family hearth inspired native masters of art, who dedicated their performances to representatives of the beautiful half of humanity.

The literary and musical composition "Enä tagzym – mukaddeslige tagzym", brilliantly performed by the soloist, theater artists, and a joined ensemble of choreographic and choral groups, became a magnificent overture of the concert. A bright mini-performance based on the work of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Hero Arkadag “Worship to Mother – worship of the shrine" is a dedication to a mother woman. The performance of the artists was imbued with pride for an independent Homeland, where peace and prosperity reign, where the faces of our beautiful women are blessed with happiness.

The concert continued with performances of national and honored artists of Turkmenistan, popular performers, musical ensembles and folklore groups. Traditionally, a significant part of the festive program consisted of performances with the participation of representatives of the males, who enthusiastically and joyfully used this opportunity to express their creative dedication to the glamour and charming women of the country, mothers, sisters, wives, brides and daughters.

Inspired songs were played on the stage, praising touching kindness and modesty, nobility of soul and wisdom of heart, beauty and fidelity, maternal love and tenderness – feelings with which the image of a woman is inextricably linked.

A festive atmosphere prevailed under the arches of the magnificent hall. Today, both masters of musical art and novice, but already popular and talented pop singers, presented musical works of foreign classics – "Aýdymlar çemeni" to the audience. The songs were played in English, Spanish, Chinese, Russian and French.

The youngest artists also demonstrated their skills. The lyrical number "Eje, eje, jan eje!" with the participation of soloists of the children's choir "Güneş", "Şowhun" and "Meñli" dance groups became a warm greeting to beloved mothers and grandmothers.

In Turkmen art, the image of a woman has been and remains one of the central ones, being an object of worship and a source of inspiration. Since ancient times, poets and prose writers, musicians and artists of the East have equated the incomparable beauty of a woman with the appearance of the unattainable heavenly bodies – the Sun and Moon, the grace of delightful flowers, and praised the bottomless depth of charming female eyes. These feelings were perfectly conveyed by the soloists who performed the songs "Oba gyzlary", "Adyń aýdym dilimde", "Nurana", "Nusgalyk gözellik", "Ömrümiń güli!", "Ýüregim sende", "Söýgi".

The musical compositions «Şanly günüň şanyna», «Arzuwly dünýäm», «Göresim gelýär», «Sen gerek», «Gizlenme, ýar!» and others, based on the poems of Turkmen poets, were enthusiastically received by the guests. The spirit and flavor of national traditions combined with modern realities were embodied on stage by the State Dance Ensemble of Turkmenistan and choreographic groups, including “Galkynyş”, “Aşgabat”, and “Laçyn”. In the language of dance, the artists conveyed their overwhelming love and gratitude for the woman. All performances were accompanied by a video.

Inspired feelings swept the audience when the song of the Hero Arkadag “Ýadymda” dedicated to bright dreams, sincere love and hopes for the future sounded. The folklore group “Serpaý” and the “Näzli” dance group emphasized the special delicate tonality of the number. The hall greeted with a standing ovation the “Miras” folklore group, who performed the kushtdepdi folk dance, which embodied all the colors of the Turkmen spring, warms the eternally young land of our beloved Homeland with its warmth. Kushtdepdi, a colorful example of national creativity, included in the UNESCO Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage, reflects the symbiosis of historical and cultural traditions and spiritual experience of the nation.

The song "Bagtyýar diýaryň mähribanlary" sounded like the final chord of the concert. Performed by all participants, the song glorified the happy women of the revival of the new era of a powerful state, our independent homeland, in which, due to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, progressive policy, grandiose transformations are carried out for the benefit of the nation, in the name of the further prosperity of Turkmenistan.

These days, to commemorate the International Women's Day in all corners of the country at the best concert venues in the capital and velayats, musical performances are held. Warm congratulations and wishes of spring mood, love and joy, peace and prosperity are heard everywhere.
