Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T.Atakhalliyev and velayat khyakims to discuss issues related to the state of affairs in the agro-industrial complex, and review the progress of the implementation of the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country in 2022-2028 and the National Rural Program in the regions.

The first to speak was the khyakim of Ahal velayat S.Soltanmyradov, who reported on the pace of seasonal agricultural work.

As reported, these days, wheat is being cared for in the fields of the region, taking into account agro-technical standards.

Harrowing and ridge raking of lands continue to prepare areas for sowing cotton. At the same time, high-quality seeds adapted to the soil and climatic conditions of the region, as well as equipment and units that will be used in the spring campaign are being prepared.

In addition, the progress of construction of social, cultural and industrial facilities scheduled for opening in the velayat this year in accordance with the Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country in 2022-2028 and the National Rural Program was reported.

After hearing the report, the head of state noted the need for an integrated approach to conducting seasonal agro-technical measures at a high level, in particular, caring for wheat and preparing fields for sowing, giving the khyakim a number of specific instructions.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov also ordered to monitor the timely and proper implementation of the work planned for the current year within the framework of the Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the socio-economic development of the country in 2022-2028 and the National Rural Program.

Then, the khyakim of Balkan velayat H.Ashyrmyradov reported on the progress of agricultural campaigns in the region.

As reported, wheat care has been continuing in the fields.

Also, leveling and ridge-making of areas for cotton sowing, procurement of high-quality seeds for agricultural producers, and bringing equipment and units into proper operational condition are being carried out.

At the same time, appropriate measures are being taken in the velayat to prepare land and seed material for the season of planting potatoes and other vegetable and melon crops.

It was also informed on the progress of construction of social, cultural and industrial facilities scheduled for commissioning in the velayat this year within the framework of the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country in 2022-2028 and the National Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the Transformation of Social and Living Conditions of the Population of Villages, Towns, Etrap Cities and Etrap Centers for the Period up to 2028.

After hearing the report, the head of state noted the need to pay special attention to increasing the efficiency of agricultural activities and gave the khyakim relevant instructions.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov also instructed to monitor the high-quality and timely execution of construction work at various facilities scheduled for opening in the velayat this year within the framework of the country’s socio-economic development programs.

Then, the khyakim of Dashoguz velayat D. Babayev reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns in the region. As noted, currently the leveling, planning, and flushing of lands for cotton sowing are continuing in an organized manner. In addition, the necessary measures are being taken to prepare high-quality seeds adapted to the soil and climatic conditions of the region.

Currently, relevant work is underway to prepare fields and seeds for the spring sowing of potatoes and vegetable and melon crops.

It was also reported on the progress of construction of facilities in the region, the commissioning of which is planned for this year in accordance with the Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the socio-economic development of the country in 2022-2028 and the National Rural Program.

Summarizing the report, the head of state noted that compliance with agricultural technology standards helps to increase the yield and quality of agricultural crops, and in this regard, gave the khyakim relevant instructions.

In addition, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered to monitor the proper implementation of the work planned for this year in the region within the framework of the country’s socio-economic development programs.

Then, the khyakim of Lebap velayat M. Annanepesov reported on the state of affairs in the fields of the region.

As noted, wheat fields are currently being fertilized with mineral and organic fertilizers, as well as watered. In order to prepare for cotton sowing, work continues on leveling, planning and flushing the land.

At the same time, the necessary measures are being taken to procure high-quality seeds for agricultural producers.

In order to successfully fulfill the tasks set by the head of state to further strengthen food abundance in the country, the fields, seed material, and equipment are being prepared for sowing potatoes and vegetable and melon crops.

In addition, it was reported on the progress of construction of socio-cultural and industrial facilities scheduled for commissioning in the region this year within the framework of the Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country in 2022-2028 and the National Rural Program.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused on the importance of seasonal agricultural activities and in this regard instructed the khyakim to ensure that they are carried out in accordance with agricultural technology standards, in particular, caring for wheat crops and preparing for spring sowing.

The head of state also ordered to monitor the quality and timely execution of construction work at the facilities, the commissioning of which in the region is planned for this year in accordance with the Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country in 2022-2028 and the National Rural Program.

Then, the khyakim of Mary velayat B. Orazov reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns.

As reported, at present, taking into account agro-technical standards, the care of wheat fields continues.

In order to organize the preparation for sowing cotton, harrowing and ridge-making of lands, as well as the procurement of high-quality seeds for agricultural producers are carried out.

At the same time, measures are being taken in the velayat to prepare fields, potato seeds and other vegetable and melon crops for the sowing season.

Along with this, efforts are being made to collect and process sugar beets without losses. It was also reported on the construction of facilities planned for commissioning in the velayat this year in accordance with the Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country in 2022-2028 and the National Program for the Transformation of Social and Living Conditions of the Population of Villages, Towns, Etrap Cities and Etrap Centers for the period up to 2028.

After hearing the report, the head of state drew attention to the importance of carrying out current agro-technical measures in agricultural fields at a high quality level, in particular, caring for wheat and preparing for sowing cotton, giving specific instructions to the khyakim in this regard.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov also ordered to monitor the quality of construction work in buildings and structures for various purposes, which are planned to be commissioned in the region this year as part of the implementation of the National Rural Program.

Then Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atakhalliyev reported on the state of affairs in the agricultural complex of the country.

As noted, in order to obtain a rich wheat harvest and further strengthen food abundance in accordance with agro-technical standards, work is being carried out in the fields of the velayats to care for wheat.

Along with this, as part of the preparation for sowing cotton, ridge-making, land surveying and flushing irrigation of lands are carried out.

At the same time, measures are being taken to procure and store high-quality seed material for cotton producers before the sowing season.

In accordance with the tasks set by the President of the country to provide the population with products produced in the country, efforts are currently being made to prepare seeds and fields for planting potatoes and vegetable and melon crops.

Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the need to organize the currently implemented agro-technical measures at a high level, ensure the coordinated work of all involved structures and addressed the Deputy Prime Minister with appropriate instructions in this regard.

Then, addressing the participants of the working meeting, the head of state noted the importance of timely ridge-making, land surveying and flushing irrigation, timely conclusion of contracts for cotton production between tenants, daikhan associations and farms, specialized institutions and service enterprises.

The President of the country ordered to take appropriate measures to provide cotton producers with high-quality seeds before the start of the sowing campaign, strictly control the care of the fields in the regions in accordance with agro-technical standards, as well as proper preparation of land and seeds for the spring sowing of vegetable and melon crops. In addition, it was assigned to ensure timely payments for work performed between cotton and wheat producers and service companies, and to make efforts to harvest sugar beets grown in Mary velayat without losses.

The head of state also ordered to take the necessary measures to ensure the timely and high-quality implementation of work in the regions planned within the framework of the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country in 2022-2028 and the National Rural Program.
