Guided by the age-old national traditions and customs, principles of friendship, brotherhood and good neighbourliness, in order to continue noble humanitarian activities, as well as to send humanitarian aid to the fraternal Afghan people on the 11^th of September, 2024 in connection with the laying of a section of the Serhetabat-Herat gas pipeline on the Turkmen-Afghan border, called «Arkadagyň ak ýoly», power transmission lines, transport and communication lines, the President of Turkmenistan signed an Order ordering the transfer of baby food, food products, wheat, urea, diesel fuel, gasoline and cement to the Afghan side at the expense of the Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
