Following the high-level Turkmen-Iranian negotiations, bilateral documents were signed

Following the talks between the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian, a ceremony of signing bilateral documents was held.

Among them:

– Cooperation plan for 2025-2026 between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran;

– Memorandum of Understanding between the International Sea Port of Turkmenbashi of Turkmenistan and the port of Amirabad of the Islamic Republic of Iran on sister port relations;

– Memorandum of Understanding between the State Concern «Türkmengaz» and the National Gas Company of Iran on the development of cooperation in the field of natural gas;

– Plan of joint activities on deepening and expanding cooperation in the future for 2025-2026 between the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan and the Customs Administration of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
