In order to further reform the country's agricultural sector in the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, strengthen food security by increasing the volume of agricultural products produced, and encourage farmers to produce high rice yields, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution instructing the Ministry of Agriculture, the State Association «Türkmengallaönümleri», the hakimliks of the Dashoguz and Lebap velayats to ensure the production of a high rice yield in the relevant etraps of these velayats.

Also, in accordance with the document, starting with the 2024 harvest, the state purchase price for rice has been increased.
