The festive opening of the Days of Culture of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Tajikistan was held today in Dushanbe. This large-scale creative event will be an important contribution to Turkmen-Tajik interstate relations.

The grand opening was held at the State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after Sadriddin Ayni. The event was attended by heads and representatives of relevant ministries, employees of cultural, art, science and education sectors, as well as the media.

Strengthening and developing fruitful relations with neighboring countries is one of the priority directions of the foreign policy of our independent and neutral homeland, which is successfully implemented under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

Turkmen-Tajik relations are based on centuries-old traditions of good neighborliness, shared history, culture, traditions, spiritual and social values.

Today, workers of culture and art from both countries meet on Tajik land. The participants of the celebration expressed their gratitude to the heads of the two countries for providing opportunities to hold the creative forum and expressed confidence that this event will contribute to the mutual enrichment of the cultures of the Turkmen and Tajik peoples, as well as the development of relations between the creative workers of the two countries.
