On retirement

from the Armed Forces, other troops and military bodies of Turkmenistan, military personnel undergoing military service upon conscription, and the next conscription of citizens of Turkmenistan for military service

In accordance with the Constitution of Turkmenistan and the Law of Turkmenistan “On Military Duty and Military Service”, I decree:

1. To transfer to the reserve in April–June 2024 from the Armed Forces, other troops and military bodies of Turkmenistan military personnel undergoing conscription service who have time-expired established in the Law of Turkmenistan “On Military Duty and Military Service”.

2. To conscript for military service in April–June 2024 those who are not entitled to an exemption from conscription for military service or the right to a deferment from conscription male citizens of Turkmenistan who are 18 years old by the day of conscription and have lost the right to a deferment from conscription for military service citizens under 27 years of age.

3. The current Decree comes into force from the moment of its publication.

In pursuance of Decree of the President of Turkmenistan # 358 of March 15, 2024 “On the transfer to the reserve from the Armed Forces, other troops and military bodies of Turkmenistan of military personnel undergoing military service upon conscription, and the next conscription of citizens of Turkmenistan for military service” President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces by the forces of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed an Order according to which the Minister of Defense of Turkmenistan, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan, the Minister of National Security of Turkmenistan, the head of the State Border Service of Turkmenistan, the head of the Security Service of the President of Turkmenistan, the chairman of the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan are ordered to carry out the dismissal of military personnel who have served the requirements established in the Law of Turkmenistan “On military duty and military service” terms, in a solemn atmosphere according to dismissal plans, to encourage excellent students in combat and social and humanitarian training.
