One of the priorities of the foreign policy being pursued by the President of Turkmenistan is the maintenance and strengthening of food security at the international level. In order to practically implement the foreign policy aimed at developing multilateral cooperation with international partners in this area, and consistently promoting the measures taken with international organizations, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Decree, instructing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment Preservation, jointly with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) to ensure a high-level of organization and holding of the International Conference “Partnership in the field of food security in the conditions of climate change” in Ashgabat on March 9-10, 2023.
