In order to fulfill the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan No. 58 “On setting up the State Committee for the Construction of the Center of the Akhal Velayat” dated April 28, 2022, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Decree approving the Regulations on the State Committee for the construction of a new center of the Akhal Velayat, as well as the structure and staffing of the central office, and the size of monthly salaries of the heads of the above Committee.

According to the document, the Ministry of Construction and Architecture, as well as the State Committee for the Construction of the Center of the Akhal Velayat, were instructed to affiliate the Directorate of Facilities under Construction of the Ministry to the Committee in the prescribed manner, and define it as the legal successor of the Directorate.

The Ministry of Finance and Economy is instructed to make amendments in the State Budget for 2022 arising from this Decree.

The document also instructs the State Committee for the Construction of the Center of Akhal Velayat, jointly with the Ministry of Adalat, to prepare within a month and submit proposals to the Cabinet of Ministers on introducing amendments and addenda to the legislation of Turkmenistan arising from this Decree.

In order to fulfill the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan No. 75 “On the Establishment of a Hyakimlik of a New Modern City, the Administrative Center of the Akhal Velayat” dated April 28, 2022, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Decree approving the structure and staffing of the hyakimlik of a new modern city, the administrative center of the Akhal Velayat.

The Ministry of Finance and Economy is instructed to make amendments in the State Budget for 2022 arising from this Decree.

In order to successfully achieve the objectives outlined in the Program “Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State: the National Programme for the Socioeconomic Development of Turkmenistan in 2022–2052”, further improve the social and living conditions of the population, as well as ensure, under the relevant Decrees of the President of Turkmenistan, the allocation in accordance with legislation of residential houses being built in the new modern administrative center of the Akhal Velayat to citizens in need of better living conditions, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Decree “On Issues of Residential Houses being Built in the New Modern Administrative Center of the Akhal Velayat”.
