An automobile bridge will be built across the Garabogaz Kol Bay

In order to develop the country's road construction industry in the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, modernize and increase the country's transport and transit potential in accordance with developed world technologies, form a modern system for the transportation of goods and passengers, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution in accordance with which the State Agency for Management construction of roads, it was allowed to conclude a contract with Limited Liability Company Road Construction “Altcom” (Ukraine) for the design and construction of a two-way two-lane road bridge across the Garabogaz Kol Bay along the Turkmenbashy–Garabogaz–Kazakhstan border highway and its supply roads.

The document prescribes to start construction work in July 2022 and to hand over the automobile bridge and its supply roads with full readiness for operation in June 2024.
