Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has held an online meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, at which the issues connected with approval of the new staff of the Government were discussed and topical subjects of state life as well as separate documents were considered.
Having announced the agenda of the meeting, the head of the state signed the Resolution “On approval of the staff of the Cabinet of Ministers of Türkmenistan “ which included 9 deputy-chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, 17 ministers and 20 heads of sectoral departments.
The President of the country started approval of the staff of the Government with appointment of deputy-chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, who supervises the financial, economic and banking complex.
M.Muhammedov was appointed deputy-chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers for issues of economic, banking and international financial organizations. Having noted his rich experience at various posts in the financial and economic sphere, the head of the state expressed confidence that he will cope with the position.
At the same time, M.Muhammedov was appointed a representative of Turkmenistan at the Economic Council of the participating countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
Having wished the new deputy-chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers success in his work, head of the state Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed the relevant Decision.
Further, the President of Turkmenistan informed of his decision to leave S.Toyliev at the post of deputy-chairman of the Cabinet, which supervises science, education, healthcare and other relevant spheres taking his rich experience.
Having wished the deputy-chairman of the Government success, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed the Decision on his appointment.
Further, the head of the state addressed M.Mammedova and informed of his decision to leave her at the post of deputy-chairwoman of the Cabinet, which supervises the sphere of culture, taking into account her positive work experience.
Having signed the relevant Decision, the President of Turkmenistan wished the deputy-chairwoman of the Cabinet successes in her work.
Having pointed out a great professional experience of Sh.Abdrahmanov, the head of the state mentioned his decision to leave him at the post of deputy-chairman of the Cabinet, which supervises issues of the oil and gas complex. Along with it, the deputy-chairman was entrusted with duties of chairman of the Turkmen-Korean commission for trade and economic and scientific and technical cooperation from the Turkmen side, Intergovernmental Turkmen-Afghan commission for trade and economic cooperation, Intergovernmental Turkmen-Armenian commission for economic cooperation, Joint intergovernmental Turkmen-Saudi Arabian commission for trade and economic cooperation and the Steering committee for implementation of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India gas pipeline project.
Having signed the relevant Decision, the President of Turkmenistan wished the deputy-chairman successes in his work.
The President of Turkmenistan appointed E.Orazgeldiyev deputy-chairman of the Cabinet for the agricultural complex, taking into account his positive work experience.
Having signed the relevant Decision on appointment of E.Orazgeldiyev as deputy-chairman of the Cabinet, the President of Turkmenistan wished him successes in his responsible work.
The President of the country appointed Ch. Purchekov deputy-chairman of the Cabinet, who supervises the construction complex, taking into account his good work experience and laying the duties of chairman of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Ukrainian commission for economic cooperation from the Turkmen side.
Having signed the relevant Decision, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished the deputy-chairman of the Cabinet successes in his work.
Further, the President of the country informed that he has taken a decision to leave Ch.Gylyjov at the post of deputy-chairman of the Cabinet, which supervises the trade complex, taking into account his positive work experience. The deputy-chairman of the Cabinet was also entrusted with the duties of chairman of the Joint Turkmen-German commission, Intergovernmental Turkmen-Turkish commission for economic cooperation, Intergovernmental Turkmen-Azerbaijan commission for economic commission and Intergovernmental Turkmen-Kazakh commission for economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation from the Turkmen side.
Having signed the relevant Decision, the head of the state wished the deputy-chairman of the Cabinet successes in his work.
M.Chakyev was appointed director general of the Transport and Communications Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers, who supervises the transport and communications complex, taking his rich work experience.
Having signed the relevant Decision, the head of Turkmenistan wished the appointed director general of the Transport and Communications Agency success in his work.
Passing to the next personnel issue, the head of the state informed of his decision to leave R.Meredov at the post of deputy-chairman of the Cabinet, minister of foreign affairs of Turkmenistan, taking into account his rich work experience.
He was also entrusted with duties of chairman of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Russian commission for economic cooperation, Turkmen-Chinese committee for cooperation, Turkmen-Japanese economic committee, Joint Turkmen-Iranian commission for economic cooperation, Joint committee for cooperation between Turkmenistan and United Arab Emirates, Joint intergovernmental Turkmen-Qatar commission for trade and economic cooperation, Joint Turkmen-Pakistan intergovernmental commission, Intergovernmental Turkmen-Indian commission for trade, economic, scientific and technological cooperation, Intergovernmental Turkmen-Slovenian commission for trade and economic cooperation from the Turkmen side.
Besides it, deputy-chairman of the Cabinet, minister of foreign affairs R.Meredov will chair the National commission of Turkmenistan for the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), Strategic consultative council established within the framework of the Memorandum of mutual understanding between the Government of Turkmenistan and United Nations Development Program. He is also appointed chairman of the Interdepartmental commission of Turkmenistan for the Caspian sea issues.
Further, the President of Turkmenistan informed of his decision to leave Ch. Amanov at the post of deputy-chairman of the Cabinet, secretary of the State Security Council, taking into account his rich experience.
Further, at the meeting the Resolution was signed and in accordance with which the following were appointed responsible supervisors: by Akhal region-deputy-chairman of the Cabinet Ch.Gylyjov, by Balkan region-deputy-chairman of the Cabinet M.Muhammedov, by Dashoguz region-deputy-chairman of the Cabinet E.Orazgeldiyev, by Lebap region-deputy-chairman of the Cabinet Sh.Abdrahmanov, by Mary region-deputy-chairman of the Cabinet S.Toylyev and by Ashgabat city-deputy-chairman of the Cabinet Ch. Purchekov.
Further, addressing members of the Cabinet of Ministers, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov commissioned them to propose worthy candidates for heads of the spheres they supervise within a week’s period in accordance with legislation to form the Government of the country within a month’s term.
Having warned them that strict requirement will be made from heads of all levels, the head of the state underlined importance of careful attention to selection and proper appointment of heads who will work fruitfully for the benefit of people by applying their experience and skill.
Further, the floor was given to deputy-chairman of the Cabinet, minister of foreign affairs R.Meredov, who reported on issues of cooperation of Turkmenistan with the United Nations.
In his speech at the inauguration ceremony President Serdar Berdimuhamedov clearly outlined key areas of foreign policy of our country for the future, one of the priority areas of which is constructive cooperation with international organizations, and first of all, with the UN.
So, until 2022 at the proposal of our country 17 Resolutions of the United Nations were adopted. At the same time, Turkmenistan enters 11 commissions and councils of the United Nations and carries out its international activity within their framework.
In the given context, the deputy-chairman of the Cabinet, minister of foreign affairs informed that at the 61st plenary meeting of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly, which was held on March 15 of the current year, at the initiative of our country, the Resolution “Integration of mainstream bicycling into public transportation systems for sustainable development” was unanimously adopted and 62 countries acted as its co-authors. Besides it, at the given meeting, Turkmenistan was elected member of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) for 2022–2028.
In this connection, the deputy-chairman of the Cabinet, minister of foreign affairs sincerely congratulated the head of the state with the next great foreign policy victory of our independent neutral fatherland.
Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov addressing participants of the meeting and all our compatriots, underlined that today, our country is the state, which plays one of the key roles in ensuring sustainable development and security in the region and enjoys a great authority and respect in the world.

As known, in the course of recent years, our independent neutral country within the framework of the long-term strategic partnership with the UN has been elected to its important institutions, commissions, committees and executive councils for many times. It serves a regular confirmation of recognition of a growing role of Türkmenistan in solution of global issues as well as a wide support of its positive foreign policy principle aimed at sustainable socio-economic development in the region and international arena by the world community.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh of Türkmenistan who spoke further, once again congratulated the head of the state on behalf of the Khalk Maslakhaty and Mejlis of the Milli Gengesh with his nationwide election to the highest post.

Turkmenistan has entered a new epoch of its development, which was named “Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state”. At the historical meeting of the Khalk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh, the National program for socio-economic development of the country for the upcoming 30 years was adopted.
A significant role was given for the elderly generation in support of the state policy and education of the youth on the basis of their exemplary role.
The heritage of our ancestors is devoted to the entire humanity. In the course of millenniums, the national wisdom, patriotic social and humane principles, noble national features and rich spiritual world of Turkmen were developed.
As the chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh noted, our ancestors created such wise sayings of their state leaders as “One leader is more important than thousand executives“, “The body without head is useless”, “The nation without leader will have neither plenty nor abundance”. So, they considered that in successful management of the state and its development, augmentation of wellbeing of its people much depends on leaders.
– Today, a great responsibility is laid upon heads of all levels, including on you for the fate of our independent fatherland and succeeding generations, Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said.

Further, Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov addressed the President of Turkmenistan with his personal request.
As you know, it is for 40 years now I have been working at the executive position, 25 years I have been engaged in policy. In connection with a great volume of work for this time, I could not take a full rest, the leader of the nation said addressing with a request to grant him a leave from April 1.
Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that for the period of his leave, he plans to complete his work upon his books as well as to prepare properly for the Inter-parliamentary forum of Central Asian countries and the Russian Federation, the Dialogue of women of Central Asian countries and Russia and other international events to be held this year at high level.
It was also requested to lay the duties of chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh upon deputy-chairman K.Babaev for the period of his leave.
Having heard Arkadag, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov marked that his request will be satisfied.
Further, addressing the participants of the meeting, the head of Turkmenistan underlined that development and expansion of inter-parliamentary cooperation is attached an important place in realization of initiatives of our country aimed at ensuring sustainable development and universal peace.
As known, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov continued, it is planned to hold a solemn meeting of the Council of the Inter-parliamentary Assembly of the CIS countries on the occasion of its 30th anniversary in Almaty on March 28-29, 2022. Addressing chairwoman of the Mejlis of the Milli Gengesh G.Mammedova, the head of the state informed that under her leadership, the delegation of Turkmenistan will make a business trip to the brotherly country for active participation in the jubilee meeting and events and meetings to be held on its margins.
Having signed the relevant Decision, the President of the country sent the document to the chairwoman of the Mejlis of the Milli Gengesh online.
In conclusion, head of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov once again congratulated participants of the meeting with their appointment to deputy-chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers and wished them sound health and great success in their responsible work expressing firm confidence that they will cope with the priority tasks set before them with credit.
