On the transfer to the reserve from the Armed Forces, other troops and military bodies of Turkmenistan of military personnel performing military service on conscription, and the next call-up of citizens of Turkmenistan for military service

In accordance with the Constitution of Turkmenistan and the Law of Turkmenistan “On Military Duty and Military Service” I am issuing the Decree on:

1. The transfer to the reserve in April-June 2022 from the Armed Forces, other troops and military bodies of Turkmenistan of military personnel performing military service on conscription, who have completed the period of service established in the Law of Turkmenistan “On Military Duty and Military Service”.

2. Calling up for military service in April-June 2022 male citizens of Turkmenistan without the right to a deferment of military service, who are 18 years of age by the day of conscription, and male citizens up to 27 years of age, who have lost the right to a deferment of military service.

3. This Decree shall enter into force upon its publication.

In pursuance of the Decree No. 02 issued by the President of Turkmenistan on March 24, 2022 “On the transfer to the reserve from the Armed Forces, other troops and military bodies of Turkmenistan of military personnel performing military service on conscription and the next call-up of citizens of Turkmenistan for military service” President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed the Order, according to which the Minister of Defense, the Minister of Internal Affairs, the Minister of National Security, the Chief of the State Border Service, the Chief of the Security Service of the President of Turkmenistan, the Chairman of the State Migration Service are instructed to discharge military personnel who have completed the period of service established in the Law of Turkmenistan “On Military Duty and Military Service” in a ceremonial atmosphere according to the plans for the transfer to the reserve, and to reward high achievers in combat and socio-humanitarian training.
