Today in the conference hall of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan took place presentation of the new book of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov "Abadançylygyň röwşen gadamlary".

The ceremony was attended by the heads of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, representatives of the diplomatic corps of Turkmenistan, diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited in our country, the teaching staff of universities, the media, and student youth.

The presentation participants emphasized that the next work of the leader of the nation was a wonderful gift to the people for the holiday - the Day of Diplomatic Workers of Turkmenistan.

The book is a collection of speeches by the head of state to the public. It included reflections on foreign policy, economics, culture, science and other areas, as well as many proposals for the further development of our country.

As the speakers noted, the new edition provides answers to many complex questions of modern international life and an opportunity to better understand the underlying motives that guide Turkmenistan in its activities on the world stage, as well as the role, goals and objectives of our country in the global coordinate system. The collection will arouse interest not only among professionals - politicians, diplomats, experts, journalists, but also among everyone who empathizes with the present and future of the Motherland.

The book outlines the clear and principled approaches of Turkmenistan on such vital development issues as the preservation and strengthening of global peace, stability and security, gives assessments and prospects for regional development, presents specific proposals for stimulating a broad and trusting interstate dialogue based on the UN Charter and internationally recognized legal norms.

At the same time, the work of the leader of the nation considers a different view of the theory and practice of modern political and diplomatic realities - the global initiative «Dialogue is a guarantee of peace». This is a new toolkit for international communication based on mutual respect, consideration of each other's interests, rejection of forceful methods as a means of solving existing problems and contradictions.

An important place in the presented collection is occupied by regional problems. It reflects the speeches of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at the Third Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia, the Summits of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Economic Cooperation Organization, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the Commonwealth of Independent States and other forums, where the idea of the need to start substantive and economically sound cooperation in key areas of modern development, the implementation of bilateral and multilateral infrastructure projects.

As the participants of the ceremony emphasized, an important aspect of such cooperation is the depoliticization of economic ties, reliance on pragmatism, awareness of the benefits and opportunities that open up for states in the presence of goodwill and determination to work together on strategic plans and projects.

The book provides assessments of the creative potential of Turkmen neutrality as the most important factor of stability, which already today goes beyond the national and regional framework. Neutrality has become the optimal model for the implementation of plans and goals, in which the content of the Turkmen foreign policy was built in the most harmonious and natural way.

The speakers noted that the new book of the Turkmen leader, published in the year passing under the motto «The Epoch of the people with Arkadag», will become a desktop for every Turkmen citizen, will serve as an important source of wisdom and knowledge for the younger generation, in whose hands the future of the Motherland is in their hands.

At the end of the presentation, its participants adopted a thankful Address in which they expressed gratitude to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for the peaceful policy pursued to ensure peace, security and strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation with the interested states of the planet.
