Today, the conference hall of the House of Culture of the Dyanev etrap hosted a ceremony to present a well-deserved award - a cash prize in the amount of 1 million US dollars to the Dyanev etrap, which became the winner of the competition for the best etrap of the country in 2021.

The celebrations were attended by the leaders of the National Center of Trade Unions, velayat and etrap hyakimliks, representatives of public organizations, the media, tenants, industry leaders, respected elders.

As is known, the results of the competition were announced at the expanded meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers following the results of the socio-economic development of Turkmenistan in 2021, held on February 11^th as part of the historic meeting of the Halk Maslakhaty Milli Gengesh. After reviewing the presented data, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Decree on awarding the hyakimlik of the Dyanev etrap of the Lebap velayat with a cash prize in the amount of 1 million US dollars.

During the celebration, a welcoming Address of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the residents of Dyanev etrap was read. The message of the head of state emphasizes: “We have set ourselves serious tasks and lofty goals - to achieve the industrial growth of the country, bring Turkmenistan into the list of developed countries of the world, and significantly improve the well-being of the people. But in order to successfully complete the tasks set, we must all work persistently and with inspiration.”

During the ceremony, on behalf of all the residents of the etrap, sincere gratitude was expressed to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for tireless concern for improving the welfare of the people, for the great attention paid to strengthening the economic power of Turkmenistan, the formation of a modern socio-economic infrastructure in the velayats.

Literally before our eyes, all corners of the Fatherland are being transformed. A striking example of this is Dyanev etrap, which is one of the major agricultural centers of the eastern region. This etrap is home to such industrial enterprises as the Seydi oil refinery, a thermal power plant, a cotton spinning factory, and a cotton gin.

Private structures play a significant role in the economy of the etrap. Thus, representatives of the business community have built greenhouses where vegetables are grown and various foodstuffs are produced, and there is a livestock breeding complex. Thus, the population of Dyanev etrap is fully provided with its own food products.

Currently, within the framework of the implementation of the Program for the socio-economic development of the country for 2019–2025 and the National Rural Program, a hydrotechnical facility is being built in the Dovletabat gengeshlik, and a secondary school is being built in the city of Seydi, which is another confirmation of the effectiveness of the main principle of the policy “State is for a person!"

Those who spoke at the celebration, congratulating the residents of the etrap on the well-deserved high title of the winner of the competition, noted that this award should inspire them to achieve new labor victories.

The participants adopted a thankful address to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, in which they expressed great gratitude to the leader of the nation for high appreciation of their contribution to the dynamic socio-economic development of the Turkmen state, assuring that they would continue to work selflessly for the sake of the prosperity of the Motherland, increasing its power and glory.

The exciting atmosphere of the holiday, imbued with the spirit of national culture and centuries-old traditions, was complemented by an exhibition that demonstrated the achievements of the agro-industrial complex, works of arts and crafts, works of Turkmen painters and sculptors.

Bright colors were added by the performances of bakhshi-sazand, literary and musical compositions performed by theater artists and creative groups of the Lebap velayat, gifting the listeners with inspiring melodies and songs dedicated to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the beloved Motherland moving forward along the path of prosperity in the year “The era of the people with Arkadag”.
