Last week, 45 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.
For foreign currency, entrepreneurs from Russia purchased polypropylene produced at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries, and representatives of business circles from the UK, Afghanistan and Georgia - ECO-93 gasoline (GK Türkmenhimiýa).
In addition, businessmen from Turkey, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan bought cotton yarn, dried licorice roots and rhizomes, and float glass using foreign currency. The total amount of transactions amounted to over 39 million 35 thousand US dollars.
Entrepreneurs from Turkey and Afghanistan purchased cotton yarn and handmade carpets for a total amount of more than 757,000 manats.
For the domestic market, domestic businessmen purchased Portland cement worth 210,272 US dollars, as well as oil road bitumen (produced by the Turkmen Oil Refinery) and handmade carpets worth over 3,165,000 manats.
