As reported earlier, yesterday, President Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov, on a working visit to Akhal velayat, visited the International Akhalteke Equestrian Complex in connection with the birth of a beautiful cream-coloured foal here. It was born of the Gozbash and Keikilkhan races belonging to the legendary lineage of Pereng. It was a joyous event for the first days of the new 2022, which was held under the motto “The Epoch of the People with Arkadag”.

During a visit to the complex, noting that the joyous news of the birth of the foal has long been known, as if giving birth to a baby, everyone is aware of it, and it has received a worthy name, the leader of the nation called the foal Zaman, wishing the great goals of the future 30 years in the new era, implemented with the speed of the rider. After all, as the wise folk saying goes, "At - myrat". Adhering to the original national traditions, the head of state, with good wishes, put on the neck of the aladja, which was woven by Ogulabat Edge.

In this context it should be noted that on the same day President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a decree on allocation of funds to the State Association "Turkmen atlary" for the modernization of horse breeding complexes, further improvement of conditions of horse and breeding work, development of equestrian sports and the art of horse breeding, as well as improvement of social and domestic conditions of horses.

The solemn meeting «Halkyň Arkadagly zamanasynda bedew sarpasy», dedicated to these important events, was held today in conference hall of the State Association «Türkmen atlary», where on behalf of all the workers of the industry addressed to the leader of the nation words of deep appreciation for his unprecedented efforts, thanks to which today domestic horse breeding is experiencing a truly new rise.

Thanks to the all-round care of the head of state, optimal working conditions have been created for the domestic horse-breeders and seyis, who have dedicated their lives to the cultivation and upbringing of the "heavenly" horses.

At the initiative of the leader of the nation, the International Association of Akhalteke Horse Breeding was founded with its headquarters in Ashgabat, which has become an effective specialized platform for meetings of specialists - horse breeders and hippologists from different countries, exchange of advanced experience.

Turkmenistan annually celebrates the National Day of the Turkmen Horse, which is traditionally timed to hold the International Beauty Contest of Akhalteke horses, creative performances among cultural figures and masters of art to better embody the art and other wonders of the image.

In all regions of the country, modern equestrian complexes have been built, with a great deal of attention paid to the training of athletes. At the same time, it should be noted that Akhalteke horses and Turkmen horsemen, demonstrating the excellence of riding and jigging, are the winners of the largest circuses and circus festivals held in different states of the planet.

Thus, the group of national equestrian games "Galkynyş" of the Akhalteke Equestrian Complex of the President of Turkmenistan has gained wide popularity outside the Fatherland. Over the years, the team has participated in a number of international competitions, receiving prestigious awards. Its overseas touring tours have also been crowned with great success.

The wonderful books about the "heavenly" horses issued from pen of leader of nation, written on the basis of careful scientific analysis, generalization of extensive historical material and modern data.

Translated into various languages of the world, these works, which are very popular with the Turkmen people, have become available to foreign readers, as well as to foreign specialists and scholars who have a genuine interest in the legendary Akhalteke horses.

It is noteworthy that the number of connoisseurs of this phenomenal breed is constantly increasing in many countries of the world. Recognition by the international community of the unmatched qualities of "winged" horses was the inclusion in the famous Guinness Book of Records of a rider named Akhan, belonging to the Akhalteke equestrian complex of the President of Turkmenistan. So, in 2018, it was able to cover the distance of 10 meters on its hind legs in 4.19 seconds, thus updating the world record in this category.

All this is a eloquent confirmation that today, thanks to the efforts of the head of state, the original national traditions of horse breeding are being filled with new concrete content.

At the end of the solemn meeting, the participants adopted a letter of thanks to the President of Turkmenistan, in which they expressed the heartfelt gratitude for the preservation and reproduction of the rich heritage of the Turkmen people, the invaluable property of which is the Akhalteke horse, for the constant care of the domestic horse-breeders.

As part of the event there were performances by masters of art, and a tour to the Museum of the State Association «Türkmen atlary».
