In order to improve cargo transportation in our country by cargo trailers and semi-trailers of foreign states and increase competitiveness in international transport in the field of transport, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, in accordance with which:

in case of non-use of towing truck of foreign states when importing goods to Turkmenistan and passing through the territory of Turkmenistan cargo trailers and semitrailers of foreign states from the countries participating in the Agreement between the Governments of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Sultanate of Oman, Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan on the creation of the International Transport and Transit Corridor (Ashgabat Agreement) and Agreements on transit and transport cooperation (Agreement on the Lapis Lazuli route) or transit through these states, for the period from November 15, 2021 to November 15, 2022, corresponding payments and fees from their owners have been established.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection, the State Customs Service and the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan are instructed, together with the Ministry of Adalat, to prepare and submit to the Cabinet of Ministers proposals on amendments and additions to the legislation arising from this Resolution within a month.
