The next, 8th issue of the scientific-theoretical journal "Politics and Society", has been published by the Archive Fund of the President of Turkmenistan of the Main Archive Department under the Cabinet of Minister.

A wide and varied thematic palette of information, reference, analytical and statistical materials published on its pages reflects the key aspects of the multifaceted state policy of the leader of the nation. Particular attention in the yearbook is paid to the disclosure of the essence and tasks of cardinal reforms and democratic transformations, deployed throughout the country at the initiative of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov

The year 2020, held under the motto "Turkmenistan is the Homeland of Neutrality", wrote important events in the history of our country, which marked the further advancement of the Fatherland along the path of modernization and digitalization of the economy, improving public administration, building up the country's human capital through the development of science, education, culture, health and sports.

The central topics of the magazine are the 25th anniversary of the permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan and the completion of a new stage of the constitutional reform, which started in 2019 in accordance with the decision taken at the initiative of the leader of the nation at the second meeting of the Khalk Maslakhaty. In this context, it should be noted a series of publications under the headings "Turkmenistan - the homeland of Neutrality", "International relations" and "The state is for the person!"

The publication "Principles of Peace, Trust and Good Neighborliness in Foreign Policy and Diplomacy of the Seljuk State" provides specific historical facts about the peace-loving traditions inherent in the foundations of the Turkmen statehood. Based on the methodological basis developed in the works of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the close interconnection of historical conditions and processes of formation of foreign policy strategy is substantiated and on the example of the diplomacy of the Great Seljuk state (1040-1157) under the leadership of such historical figures, statesmen and military leaders as Togrul Beg ,

Alp Arslan, Malik Shah, Soltan Sanjar and others. The article contains information confirming the priority of the use of political and diplomatic methods, negotiation tools in maintaining peace and preventing military conflicts.

The publication “Turkmen neutrality - the policy of peace and development” is also dedicated to the anniversary date.

The article "Dialogue of cultures for the triumph of peace, trust and sustainable development" reveals in detail the essence of the policy of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, aimed at ensuring the right of the Turkmen people to preserve and enhance their cultural and national identity in harmony with universal human values, protection, study and widespread popularization values of historical, cultural and intangible heritage, fruitful development of international cooperation in this area.

One of the articles of the new issue of the magazine is devoted to the implementation of the main principle of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov "The state is for the person!" in the archival industry.

The issue ends with the heading "From the Bookshelf", which contains a brief overview of the 13th volume of selected works of the head of Turkmenistan "Towards New Heights of Progress" and the 13th edition of the book "Chronicle of Great Achievements".
