The President of Turkmenistan has passed an Order announcing S. A. Niyazov etrap, Dashoguz velayat the winner in the competition for the best-performing etrap. In 2020, the etrap showed the best performance in the social, economic and cultural spheres among etraps and etrap towns in the velayats. 

The Central Bank has been authorized to allocate the prize money worth US $1,000,000 from the State Development Fund for the Golden Age of Turkmenistan and pay it to the winning etrap’s khyakimlik.

The President of Turkmenistan has issued an Order launching a 2021 competition for the best-performing etrap in the social, economic and cultural spheres among etraps and etrap towns in the velayats. 

In accordance with the document, a Commission has been established to select the 2021 competition winner and its membership has been approved.

The Commission will have to determine an etrap or an etrap town with the highest performance achievements in every velayat. Then, the country’s best-performing etrap will be selected among them. The competition’s prize money is worth US $1,000,000.
