President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received oil-and-gas expert under adviser to President of Turkmenistan, President of the ARETI International Group, Igor Makarov. Expressing gratitude for the opportunity of a personal meeting, the guest congratulated President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the 29th anniversary of independence of Turkmenistan, and wished the Turkmen people happiness, wellbeing and further successful development of the country along the chosen path of progress and prosperity. Welcoming the head of the leading company, the Turkmen leader underlined that Turkmenistan, implementing the ""open door"" policy, advocates for the establishment of long-term, equal and mutually beneficial cooperation with interested business circles of the world. An exchange of views on the prospects of cooperation in the context of priorities of the socio-economic development of Turkmenistan and the accumulated experience of joint work in various spheres, including fuel and energy sector, construction and transport areas, took place during the meeting. The businessman also informed the President of Turkmenistan on the progress of work, including the progress in implementing a number of joint projects. Thanking the Turkmen leader for the trust, Igor Makarov assured that the ARETI International Group would continue to fulfill all partner obligations, taking an active part in the large-scale transformation programmes, launched in the country. During the meeting, particular attention was paid to the preparations to the 2021 World Track Cycling Championship, and the 2026 Road Cycling World Championship. In this regard, the guest, as a member of the Steering Committee of the International Cycling Union, said that he would provide any possible support to ensure the successful organization of the World Championship, expressing the hope that it will become the best and most memorable one. Expressing admiration with the ongoing transformations of unprecedented significance and scale, the head of ARETI wished President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov new successes in his noble work in the name of happiness and well-being of the Turkmen people.
