In particular, the representative of Romanian mass media asked Mr. Schlesser whether President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov would take part in the races. “This race is held by the initiative of Turkmen leader, who is lover and supporter of sports as well as very good driver as we know from the video. Will we be able to see the President among the participants of this event”” Jean-Louis Schlesser answered: “We would be happy to the participation of the President of the country. I hope he will also take part. It will make me happy. I hope for confirmation. Of course, this is the President who will made a decision on his participation but we would be very happy”. The question of the journalist from Russian Agency of International Information RIA Novosti was answered with the information about several teams from Russian who applied to participate in Amul – Hazar 2018 rally. It includes the G- Force team. Probably, there will be other competitors from Russia as the registration of the application is open until August 10. To answer the question of the journalist from Kazakhstan, it was said that there is good selection of participants, around five teams from the Federation of Motorsport of Kazakhstan. Representative of the State News Agency of Turkmenistan (TDH) asked about famous motor racers who would come to Amul – Hazar 2018 rally. He was answered that as it is expected President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov might be the most famous racers of coming competitions, which we all dream of. This is great honour for all of us. There will be pilot from Saudi Arabia Yazeed Al-Rajhi as well as many titled racers from France, England and other countries. As for today, around 80 participants has been registered. 20 – 25 vehicles will start the race.
