At the meeting of the government, information was provided on the progress of the construction of a carbamide plant in the city of Garabogaz in the Balkan velayat. According to Vice premier K.Durdymyradov, technological equipment for ammonia and carbamide production has been installed on the facility, commissioning of the gas turbine generator of the plant, nitrogen and oxygen production workshops, and auxiliary steam installations has been completed. Currently, construction and installation work is being intensively carried out in warehousing and other relevant premises; an oven for processing technological gas is being installed. The construction of a new plant for the production of carbamide is of great importance for strengthening the rapidly developing gas chemical industry and in general, the national economy, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said. The facility is being built in accordance with a comprehensive program of industrialization aimed at more fully realizing the country's huge resource potential, increasing the volume of export industrial products, including those in demand on foreign markets for mineral fertilizers, the Head of the state said. The vice-premier was instructed to keep under constant monitoring the progress of the construction of the carbamide plant and the reconstruction of the seaport in Garabogaz in accordance with the planned schedule. Touching upon the issue of qualitative training of professional personnel for work at the chemical industry enterprises, the President of Turkmenistan gave specific instructions to the relevant leaders.
