President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Hassan Rouhani arrived in Turkmenistan on an official visit. The government officials greeted the IRI President at the International Airport of Ashgabat, decorated with the National Flags of the two countries. From the air harbor, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran headed to his residence in the Oguzkent fashionable hotel. The distinguished guest, accompanied by the escort of honour, headed to the Square of Independence, where President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov greeted his Iranian colleague. The official welcoming ceremony started with the report of the commander of the Guard of Honour. The national anthems of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Turkmenistan were performed. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President Hassan Rouhani passed by the Guard of Honour. The Turkmen leader introduced the members of the official delegation of Turkmenistan to the Iranian colleague. The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran got acquainted with the leaders of the diplomatic corps accredited in our country. The IRI President introduced the members of the governmental delegation of Iran to the President of Turkmenistan. Then the leaders of the two countries headed to the Palace of Ruhyet. After the ceremony of official photographing on the background of State Flags of both countries, the leaders of Turkmenistan and Iran held one-on-one talks.
