The national holiday, “Drop of water – grain of gold” was celebrated in Turkmenistan. A representative office of one of the world’s biggest IT corporations – Microsoft – opened in Turkmenistan in August 2015. The decision was made after a preliminary analysis and high assessment by the company’s experts of the country’s fast-developing market prospects and demand for efficient high-technology solutions.

The symbols of Asian Games namely the image of Asian Games 2017 – alabay Vepaly also representing 21 sports of the competitions, was one of the main subject of the session. According to the suggestion of the Turkmen Leader, the images will be presented in mass media for wide public introduction and discussion.

By the outcomes of the Year of Honouring of the Heritage, Transformation of the Motherland and National Spring Holiday, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov enacted to award number of cultural, art and literature workers with monetary prizes from the President of Turkmenistan Charity Fund.

For deserving contribution to the development of national culture, journalism and educational sphere, training of art workers, upbringing of the youth successes in public activity as well as taking into account special merits to the State and the people, high performance and professionalism, years of hard work and on the outcomes of the Year of Honouring of the Heritage and Transformation of the Motherland and on occasion of National Spring Holiday, number of cultural, art and educational sphere workers are awarded with state prizes and titles by the Decree of the Head of the State.

The President of Turkmenistan, Supreme-Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, signed the Decree on military discharge from the Armed Forces and other branches of the military of Turkmenistan of servicemen doing compulsory military service, and the regular conscription for the citizens of Turkmenistan.
