International Scientific and Technical Conference will be held on June 12-13 in Ashgabat. Scientists, professors, teachers and young researchers from dozens of countries will take part in the forum dedicated to the Day of Science.

The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution approving the procedure for recognition in Turkmenistan of documents on higher and secondary vocational education issued in foreign countries.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a decree on conferring the honorary title ""Honored carpetmaker of Turkmenistan"". This title in honor of the Day of Turkmen carpet and taking into account long-term conscientious work and professional skills, was awarded to a number of the best workers of the industry for the achievements in the development of carpet weaving art, popularizing and multiplying the glory of Turkmen carpets that have become a national pride, creating artistic carpet cloths.

A series of events, timed to the World Environment Day, will be held with the participation of representatives of regional and international organizations, heads of ministries and departments of Central Asian countries, specialists in the field of environmental protection, water management, etc.

The first month of the summer promises to be rich in festive and cultural events which start in Ashgabat and regions of Turkmenistan with the first June holiday - International Children's Day. Also within a month Day of Textile Industry Workers, World Environment Day, Day of Science and Day of Workers of Culture and Art will be solemnly celebrated.

Two remarkable festivities, combined in one festive event, attached a vivid energy to the Turkmen capital’s life, filling it with beautiful music, fragrance of flowers, and merriment.

The 16th International Universal Exhibition “White city – Ashgabat” has closed in the Exhibition Center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It showcased the capital city’s achievements in urban construction and untapped potential for its further development.
