In the course of a working tour through Ashgabat, President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov inspected the reconstructed administrative building of public organizations of Turkmenistan, which is situated on the Garashsyzlyk Avenue. Offices, tooled up with modern computer and office equipment and supplied with comfortable furniture, are located here. The building houses six country’s public organizations: the Democratic and the Agrarian Parties, the National Center of trade unions, the Women’s Union, the Youth Organization named after Makhtumkuli, the Peace Fund of Turkmenistan. The office accommodates several conference rooms – five 20-seat, two 130-seat and one 60-seat rooms, designed for round-table meetings, forums and other events. A magnificent large 500-seat assembly hall is on the second floor. On the third floor, there is a library with a solid book stock, which presents outstanding works of the President of Turkmenistan. Works of local artists and elements of contemporary decor are used in the interior design. A landscaped adjacent area provides outdoor sheltered parking lot. In the basement, there are covered parking lot, as well as archive and storage space. During familiarization with the new office, the head of state noted the important role of public organizations in the country’s socio-political life, in the process of the progressive democratic reforms, deployed in our state and society, conduction of mass-educational work to explain the essence and key objectives of fundamental reforms and comprehensive development programs, implemented in the Homeland. Their activity is of great importance in the context of further strengthening the unity and cohesion of the Turkmen people, an extensive promotion of healthy lifestyle principles among all sections of the population, traditional high-moral values of our nation, patriotic youth education, the nation’s rich creative potential realization.
