The President of Turkmenistan signed a Decree on Celebrating Oraza Bayramy. According to the document, in 2017 Oraza bayramy will be celebrated on 26 June. This day has been declared as non-working holiday.

A number of festive campaigns, dedicated to the landmark dates and commissioning of social and cultural facilities, are scheduled for July in Turkmenistan.

On the eve of V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games comfortable cars of the famous brand ""Hyundai"", produced in the Republic of Korea were decorated with Asiada-2017 symbols. Now these modern taxis run along the streets of Ashgabat.

Great Conference Hall of the Agricultural Complex, in the framework of Turkmenistan’s presidency in IFAS during 2017-2019, hosted the International Conference “Role of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea in development of cooperation in Central Asia”.

It was opened the building of the Executive Committee of the International Fund for saving the Aral Sea (IFAS). On June 16, the decision on creation of this structure was signed at the government session by the President of IFAS, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov.

President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the country’s Armed Forces, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, signed the Decree on Pardoning the Convicted Persons on the Occasion of the Holy Night of Gadyr gijesi, pursuant to which 1029 Turkmenistan nationals will be freed from further serving their sentence.

President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov signed a decree on the establishment of the Institute of Communal Services of Turkmenistan. According to the document, the new institute was transferred to the Ministry of Communal Services of Turkmenistan.

During working trip, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was accompanied by the Head of the capital administration Sh. Durdyliyev.

On the occasion of the Science Day, Ashgabat hosted the solemn ceremony of awarding the winners of the annual competition of scientific works among young people, conducted by the Central Council of the Youth Organization named after Makhtumkuli jointly with the Academy of Sciences. Honoring the winners was held in the conference hall of the Turkmen State University named after Makhtumkuli.
