Turkmenistan is preparing to hold several events to celebrate the Day of Knowledge and Students marked annually on 1 September. Ashgabat and the provinces of the country will host celebratory events, research-to-practice forums and competitions in various sports. According to good tradition, commissioning of several new projects is dedicated to this holiday. They include the complex of buildings of the Institute of Communal Services of Turkmenistan; the Department of Chemistry of the Magtymguly Turkmen State University; and the International Center for Endocrinology and Surgery. Moreover, on the occasion of beginning of the school year, new secondary schools, 3 for 600 students each and 2 for 720 students each, will open in Ashgabat. A new school for 500 students will open in Serahs district of Ahal province.
