Schoolchildren and students in Ashgabat will go on unscheduled holidays during the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games. The relevant Order was issued by President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov at a Cabinet session.

The Central Officers’ Club hosted an awarding of the poetry contest winners, which was organized by the “Milli goşun” magazine of the Ministry of Defense of Turkmenistan. For the first time, the creative contest was held in the online format, net surfers could participate it, and an online voting determined winners.

Turkmenistan will host several celebratory events to mark 10 days to the start of the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games. This was discussed at the session of the Government of Turkmenistan.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in order to preserve the original spiritual and moral values of the Turkmen people and in accordance with Part 2 of Article 81 of the Labor Code of Turkmenistan signed a decree on the celebration of Kurban Bairam.

The Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Armenia published illustrated book dedicated to V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games.

Today, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov has taken a helicopter tour of the capital and its suburban areas to review the progress of ongoing works, as well as the massive efforts undertaken as part of preparations for the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games.

Thanks to consideration by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, all the conditions are being provided in Turkmenistan for civil, private and management initiatives. Encouraging compatriots to develop a conscious, responsible approach, the head of state always stresses that it is the concerned attitude towards everything around us – be it order and cleanliness in the streets of cities and villages, or the beauty and diversity of the nature of our motherland, or the animal life in need of care – that always springs good deeds.

The State Program for the Development of social and human sciences and Action plan for its implementation has been approved. The corresponding Resolution was signed by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at the government meeting.
