Following the habit to do sports on Sunday morning, horse riding or jogging, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov arrived in Ahalteke Equestrian Complex early in the morning.

Mass bike ride will be held in Ashgabat on Saturday. The sporting event is dedicated to the 50-day countdown to the beginning of the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games. The issues of holding this action were discussed at the field meeting of the government, which President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov held at the Ashgabat International Airport upon his return from ""Avaza"" tourist zone.

Early in the morning, Turkmen Leader arrived to sport complex Avaza that suppllemnted infrastructure of comfortable international class resort where the Head of the State was met by the Chairperson of the Mejlis, members of the Government, leaders of military and law enforcement agencies and Hyakim of Balkan region.

Today, President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov has made a working tour of the capital to check on the city’s infrastructure development, the ongoing improvement efforts and preparations in Ashgabat for the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games.

In the course of a working tour through Ashgabat, President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov inspected the reconstructed administrative building of public organizations of Turkmenistan, which is situated on the Garashsyzlyk Avenue.

Today, President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov was acquainted with the progress of the implementation of the Ashgabat Redevelopment Program’s 15th phase. In general, there will be constructed 208 two-storied one-family cottages, eighteen 12-storied and sixteen 3- and 4-storied buildings and the corresponding social infrastructure objects, including shopping centers, kindergarten, school, etc. The large area is rendered suitable for new buildings in the capital’s southwestern part, which currently creates a qualitatively new urban environment.

Preparation of new popularizing action, mass public cycling race initiated by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and organized under Ashgabat 2017 project to mark 50-days countdown until V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, is carried out throughout the country in all regions and the capital.

House of health, put into operation in the densely populated area of Ashgabat, is staffed by family doctors and other necessary specialists.
