One of the major and integral components of successful organization of «Ashgabat- 2017, such any big sports action like this mass event, is qualified medical service. At the extended meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers which took place on September 22, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave particular attention to this issue in aspect of quality of organisation of the Games, having charged to adjust round-the-clock duty of doctors in the Rehabilitation centre of the Olympic village. Becoming a demonstration of fine traditions of hospitality of Turkmen people, the developed infrastructure of our capital, social and economic progress of the country, high potential of its sports sphere, «Ashgabad-2017» is one more occasion to show an increased possibility of our medicine through the organisation of highly professional health services for sportsmen. In these purposes the tripartite contract between Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan, Executive committee of the 5th Asian indoor and martial arts games and company «Trivandi Chanzo Limited» in due time was signed. According to the contract, for rendering of necessary medical aid both at competition objects, and the Rehabilitation centre of the Olympic village 34 skilled foreign experts, traumatologists, surgeons, neurosurgeons, orthopaedists, intensive care doctors, cardiologists, ophthalmologists and others were involved. Over the period of organization of the Asian indoor and martial arts games German doctors who have arrived at the special invitation in Ashgabat, together with Turkmen colleagues from Management of International Medical Centres conduct consultations and render necessary help to the sportsmen who have applied them. For today participants of the Games have been rendered about eight hundred medical services. It mainly are insignificant and easy traumas, bruises and others. The rehabilitation centre, being a medical aid station of the Olympic village, is intended also for rational use of free time from competitions for the purpose of restoration of forces and the physical form of sportsmen. For this purpose here there is a pool, a circular shower, a shower of Sharko, general and local baths, a gym, rooms for physiotherapy, massage, a cafe. In all medical rooms the highly skilled help experts of international level serve. It is necessary to notice that all means of medical appointment and medical products given to participants of Games are products of European standard. In the system of public health services and medical industry of our country a great deal of preparation work has been carried out for the 5th Asian indoor and martial arts games, including improvement of professional skill of Turkmen doctors. In the Rehabilitation centre of the Olympic village, along with the best experts from abroad, our sports doctors who have passed international accreditation under the aegis of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan are involved.
