The capital Yildyz Hotel hosted the fifth session of Joint Turkmen – Tatar workig group for trade and economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation. Heads and representatives of different ministries and departments of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation were the participants of the forum.

By a Decree issued by President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov, Azat Gadamovich Jepbarov, assistant to the editor-in-chief of the newspaper Nesil, has been appointed as editor-in-chief of the newspaper Bereketli Toprak.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed deep condolences to President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev over the fire at the Republican Narcological Dispensary in Khatai Region, Baku that caused numerous human victims and injuries.

On March 1 – 2 Tashkent hosted the 14th session of Joint Turkmen - Uzbek Committee for trade and economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation. Turkmenistan delegation chaired by Vice-premier B. Annameredov arrived in Uzbek capital for participation in its work. Heads and representatives of the ministries and departments of two countries took part in the meeting.
