On November 13, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who the day before upon completion of his working visit to the Republic of Turkey, arrived in Turkmenbashi city, visited a multifield sports complex built on the seashore and practiced a number of physical exercise with his companions-in-arms there.

Today President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has made a working visit to the Republic of Turkey to participate in the VIII Summit of heads of states of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States (Turkic Council) at the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The third session of the Halk Maslakhaty Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan of the first convocation was held today, at which the laws adopted on October 30 during the fifteenth meeting of the Mejlis Milli Gengesh were considered. These regulatory documents have been developed in accordance with the priorities of the socially oriented policy of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and a comprehensive program to modernize the country's legislative and legal framework.

Today, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received reports from the khakims of the Akhal, Balkan, Dashoguz, Lebap and Mary velayats on the successful fulfillment of contractual obligations for the production of raw cotton by the country’s farmers.

Today, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a meeting through the digital system with the participation of members of Milli Gengesh, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers supervising the agricultural complex, and heads of public organizations.

Today, the President of Turkmenistan, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, Army General Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov got acquainted with the progress of work on the implementation of the instructions given earlier by the nation’s leader on the establishment of the Economic Management of military and law enforcement agencies, the construction of a building for the maintenance of service dogs, as well as a stable.

Today the Balkan velayat hosted solemn ceremonies of putting into operation several important objects at once, which became a vivid evidence of the success of the implementation of the comprehensive program of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the accelerated socio-economic development of the country's regions and one of the significant construction premieres of the current festive year of the 30th anniversary of the sacred independence of the Motherland, held under the deeply symbolic motto “Turkmenistan is the Motherland of Peace and Trust”.

Today, as part of the visit of the delegation of the Republic of Austria to Turkmenistan, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry held a number of working meetings aimed at further development of economic relations between the two countries.

Today, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Federal Minister for European and International Affairs of the Republic of Austria Michael Linhart, who arrived in Turkmenistan.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was interviewed by Yusuf Erim, the editor-in-chief of the “TRT World” TV channel of the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation, during which key aspects of traditionally friendly Turkmen-Turkish relations, prospects of regional and international cooperation in various formats were touched upon and priorities of the state policy of Turkmenistan where the special attention is given to preservation of national values of the nation and their interrelation with the present were discussed.
