Conceptual Strategy of development of Turkmenbashy Refinery Complex and Seydi Refinery is under elaboration. The Head of the State was informed about the work on the Concept by Vice-premier M. Meredov at the session of the Government on March 15.

The Head of the State ordered to start cotton sowing in Ahal, Balkan, Lebap and Mary Velayats on March 23 and in Dashoguz Velayat on March 27 at the session of the Government on March 15. It is planned to produce 1,050,000 tons of cotton this year.

Turkmen delegation chaired by Vice-premier, Head of Foreign Ministry Rashid Meredov made working visit to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The Head of the State was informed on the outcomes of the visit at the session of the Government on March 15.

At the session of the Government on March 15, Vice-premier, Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov informed President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov about the state visit of the King of Bahrein Hamad Ibn Isa Al Khalifa to Turkmenistan on March 17 – 19.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs hosts the First session of the authorized representatives of the littoral Caspian states to agree on the draft of the Agreement on cooperation in the sphere of scientific research in the Caspian Sea between the governments of the littoral Caspian states.

The first session of authorised representatives of Caspian states on discussion and coordination of the Agreement between the Governments of Caspian States on Cooperation in Search and Rescue Works in Caspian Sea has started in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

By the request of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Speaker of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan G. Mammedova received the credentials of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the kingdom of Spain to Turkmenistan Fernando Valderrama Pareja.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held regular video conference working session with the hyakims of the velayats and Ashgabat with the participation of the Speaker of the Mejlis, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and heads of some government structures.
