On January 1, 2021, senior officials of the Mejlis and deputies to the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers paid a visit to the Bagabat Health Resort, built in Ak Bugday Etrap, Akhal Velayat on the Turkmen leader’s initiative.

The permanent representative office of Turkmenistan at the UN has informed about good news. The Final document of International conference “Policy of neutrality and its role in provision of global peace, security and sustainable development”, which was held under chairmanship of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on December 12, 2020, has been published in six official languages of the UN and formally circulated among the state members. It will be called the Ashgabat Final Document in the language of international diplomacy.

The President has summed up the outcomes of the expiring year, which was held under slogan “Turkmenistan – Home of Neutrality”. Despite the complicated situation in the world, Turkmenistan has managed to achieve stable development of national economy in 2020. Numerous social and production facilities have been built and put into operation. Thousands of happy families have celebrated house-warming parties. Number of international projects, which are to turn the country into new important link of regional and interregional transport and communication system is under implementation.

The year of Turkmenistan – Home of Neutrality, which was announced at the initiative esteemed President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, has become a historically important year for our country. Wide celebration of the glorious 25th anniversary of permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan allowed making the world community aware of great success and high targets achieved by our country.

On December 30, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has held last in this year joint session of the Cabinet of Ministers and State Security Council in the Ruhiyet Palace. Heads of the regions and Ashgabat have also been invited to the session.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation on December 30.
