The fourth session of the Halk Maslakhaty Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan of the first convocation was held today, approving the laws adopted on December 4 during the sixteenth meeting of the Mejlis Milli Gengesh. These regulatory documents have been developed in accordance with the priorities of the socially oriented policy of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and a comprehensive program to modernize the legislative and legal framework of the state.
Every day of the jubilee year proclaimed under the slogan “Turkmenistan – Home of Peace and Trust” our people mark with glorious events and labor victories. The head of state keeps initiating still more grandiose plans linked with full-scale realization of Turkmenistan’s gigantic economic and spiritual potential. Today, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via the digital system to consider some issues of the internal and foreign policy of an independent neutral state aimed at ensuring a prosperous and happy life of the people, as well as drafts of a number of documents.
In order to ensure the implementation of the tasks stipulated in the "Concept for the Development of the Digital Economy in Turkmenistan in 2019-2025" in the epoch of might and happiness, the development of a high-tech and competitive digital economy through the widespread introduction of digital systems in the sectors of the national economy, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution approving the membership of the Intersectoral Commission for the Development of the Digital Economy in Turkmenistan.
In order to ensure a peaceful and safe life of the population of our country at a high level and prevent emergencies, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution approving the work plan of the State Commission of Turkmenistan for Emergency Situations for 2022.
In accordance with the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan, the Turkmen delegation is going on a business trip to the city of New Delhi (the Republic of India) and the city of Islamabad (the Islamic Republic of Pakistan) to participate in the next meeting of the Central Asia-India dialogue at the level of Ministers of Foreign Affairs, as well as in the Emergency Meeting on the Humanitarian Situations in Afghanistan of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation on December 18-20, 2021.
