President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov sent telegrams to State Councilor of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation Mintimer Shaimiev and Chairman of the Management Board of PJSC Gazprom Alexey Miller, in which he expressed sincere gratitude for the warm congratulations and good wishes on the occasion of the New Year 2022.

A historically significant event in the life of our state and society – the session of Halk Maslakhaty of Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan, which was held in the capital’s «Maslahat köşgi» on February 11, was centered on the issues of the Motherland’s future fate. 

Today, the conference hall of the House of Culture of the Dyanev etrap hosted a ceremony to present a well-deserved award - a cash prize in the amount of 1 million US dollars to the Dyanev etrap, which became the winner of the competition for the best etrap of the country in 2021.

In accordance with the commission of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, given during the meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of the Milli Gengesh held on February 11, a meeting of the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums in Turkmenistan was held today.

Last week, 89 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.

Today, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Roman Sklyar, who arrived in Turkmenistan led his country’s government delegation.

The briefing held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was devoted to the historic decisions taken on February 11 at the session of the Halk Maslahaty of the Milli Gengesh held by President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

In order to successfully implement the “Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the socio-economic development of the country for 2019–2025” in the era of power and happiness, stimulate the achievement of better results in the social, economic and cultural spheres in etraps and cities, create production facilities with modern technologies, as well as implementation of the Order of the President of Turkmenistan No. 1433 dated May 24, 2021, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Order. According to the document, the Dyanevsky etrap of the Lebap velayat was declared the winner in Turkmenistan, which at the end of 2021 achieved the highest results in all indicators in the social, economic and cultural spheres among the etraps of the velayats and cities with the rights of etraps, as well as the etraps of the city of Ashgabat, and the hyakimlik of the Dyanevsky etrap was awarded cash prize of $1 million.
