President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has put forward new international initiatives in the transport sector for landlocked countries.

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent a video message to the participants of the international conference of transport ministers of landlocked developing countries.

This morning, the International Conference at the level of ministers of transport of landlocked developing countries in a hybrid format began its work at the Congress Center of the Avaza National Tourist Zone.

Today, in the Turkmen seaside, which cordially hosts numerous foreign guests these days, a number of exhibitions were opened, demonstrating success in the transport complex and logistics, a wide range of modern services offered, organized within the framework of the International Conference at the level of Ministers of Transport of developing countries that do not have access to the sea.

The events of the past week marked another important step towards the successful realization of the colossal economic and spiritual potential of Turkmenistan, marked the creative essence of the reforms being carried out in the country under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, aimed at ensuring a decent life for citizens, the progressive advancement of an independent neutral Motherland to high levels of progress.

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who is on a leave on the Caspian coast, held an on-site meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, at which the results of work done in the country over the past seven months of this year were summed up, and some issues were considered.

Today, the Avaza National Tourist Zone celebrates the Caspian Sea Day, held annually by the Caspian states.

Numerous working meetings, political consultations, business negotiations, forums, exhibitions and conferences organized in July of this year both in our country and abroad became a vivid evidence of the steady growth of Turkmenistan’s authority on the world stage in the context of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov’s foreign policy strategy.

Today, President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who is on leave in the Balkan Velayat, visited the “Garşy” military unit of the Naval Forces located in the western region and inspected the “Deňiz han” corvette class warship.

The events of the past week determined the promising directions for the development of the economy of our country, taking into account the ongoing large-scale programs aimed at industrialization, formation of high-tech industries, introduction of innovations and advanced developments into production. The tasks outlined by the head of state Serdar Berdimuhamedov to achieve high performance and bring each sphere to new frontiers of development aim at further prosperity of our Motherland, raising the standard of living of its people.
