With a view of improvement of activity of the World Turkmen Humanitarian Association and further development of relations with compatriots living in foreign countries, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution having approved the Action Plan for realization of measures on improvement of activity of the World Turkmen Humanitarian Association and development of relations with compatriots living in foreign countries.

In accordance with the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan, taking into account great successes in the strengthening of state independence and neutrality, realization of the foreign policy of Turkmenistan, development of political, cultural and humanitarian and other relations of the country, safeguarding of state interests of Turkmenistan in foreign countries as well as long years of honest service and exemplary work in the diplomatic service, Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Ministers of Foreign Affairs Meredov Rashid Ovezgeldiyevich was awarded the distinctive sign “Türkmenistanyň ussat diplomaty”.

With a view of creation of the autonomous national digital network in Turkmenistan, not connected with the internet as well as adoption of measures on a system basis connected with these activities, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, in accordance with which, the working commission development of the Concept of formation of the national digital network and realization of the project for creation of the national digital network was set up and its staff was approved.

Today, President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular session of the State Security Council. The results of military and law enforcement agencies’ work for eleven months of this year were put on the agenda. 

Today, on behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the Chairman of the Mejlis of the Milli Gengesh G. Mammedova received credentials from the Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of a number of foreign states - the Kingdom of Norway, the Republic of Finland, the Republic of Estonia, the Republic of Indonesia, the Republic of Ghana, the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, and also from the Apostolic Nuncio.

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent his sincere congratulations and best wishes to Mr. Alain Berset on his election as President of the Swiss Confederation.
