The past week ended the year 2022, which has become truly fateful for our sovereign Motherland - Turkmenistan has entered a new stage of its development, called the Epoch of the Revival of a new era of powerful state. Passed under the motto "The Age of the People with Arkadag", the past year was marked by significant successes in domestic and foreign policy pursued by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and aimed both at protecting national interests and at strengthening world peace.

Passed under the motto “The Epoch of the People with Arkadag”, the past year was marked by significant successes in domestic and foreign policy pursued by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and aimed both at protecting national interests and at strengthening world peace.

Today, in the festively decorated hall of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry a New Year solemnity took place with participation of inmates of «Döwletliler Köşgi» Palace, who were given presents on behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

Repetek is one of the most picturesque places in the Karakum Desert. It was here that a reserve was created in October 1927, the main task of which was to protect the black saxaul forests and the adjacent desert areas. In 1979, by the decision of UNESCO, the Repetek Nature Reserve acquired the status of a biosphere and was thus included in the list of internationally recognized standards of natural ecosystems.

There are many remarkable corners in the Kopetdag mountains. Many mountain range is delighted with a contrast of the scarp canyons and wonderful plains – plateau, both at the foot of the ridge, and between the mountain tops.

In the northwestern part of the Dashoguz velayat, within the Ustyurt and Sarykamysh geographical regions, at the junction of the southern and northern subzones of the Turan deserts lies the Kaplankyr nature reserve. The reserve has clearly defined natural boundaries only in the west thanks to a huge depression - the Karashor salt marsh. It is difficult to find a territory within the Ustyurt that is more monotonous, smoother, more consistent with the idea of Ustyurt than an endless plain.

The Amudarya State Nature Reserve is located in the northeastern part of the Lebap velayat of Turkmenistan on an area of forty-eight thousand hectares. Different complexes of ecosystems are presented here in terms of landscape and composition of biodiversity: the water area of the Amudarya River, the forest along the banks of the river and the Kyzylkum Desert. Dune sands, saline with rare shrubs and plains with moist floodplains, where marsh-meadow vegetation has richly grown, coexist nearby.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, on behalf of the people and Government of Turkmenistan, as well as on his own behalf, sent sincere congratulations and best wishes to the President of the Slovak Republic Ms. Zuzana Čaputová and the people of the country on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and the Slovak Republic.

Today, the people of independent neutral Turkmenistan enthusiastically and solemnly welcome the New Year, 2023, destined to continue the chronicle of the glorious deeds of the era of the Revival of a new epoch of a powerful state.

At the 17th session of the UNESCO Intergovernmental Committee for the Protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage, held in Rabat (Kingdom of Morocco), it was unanimously decided to include the nomination Turkmen embroidery proposed by our country in the Representative List of the Intangible Heritage of UNESCO.
